John Hurley co-founded Hurley's Hair Design in January 2012 to save jobs and secure the futures for those who worked for the previous business.

 

Driven by the philosophy that businesses should be like the "old days" by delivering exceptional customer service, quality, affordability and consistency to every client. The 'Treating Customers Fairly' philosophy was born within the hairdressing trade in Bilston.

 

Hurley's Hair Design rebranded itself to HHD in February 2014 for a more up-market look and feel but remaining the first salon in Bilston to drive forward Exceptional Customer Service.

 

John worked as an office manager at RAC Rescue for 12 years from 2001 and opened Hurley's Hair Design purely to save jobs and create employment for others. RAC was left behind in 2013 for John to concentrate on building up the salon and making it the best in Bilston Town Centre.

 

One month after leaving RAC, John decided to start taking on college courses for barbering and become part of his team more closely. He qualified as a barber in February 2014 and is the prime barber within the salon.
